Printmaking Quilt

Description: 

For this project, we drew our own design on a foam square and then rolled paint onto that foam piece of paper before stamping the foam square onto a small square of construction paper. We repeated that twelve times. After the paint dried, we glued the small twelve squares of construction paper on a bigger piece of construction paper.

Extension: 

For this project, I would have students create a huge printmaking quilt to decorate a classroom wall with. Students could come up with a design in small groups then print those designs using various colors. We will then add those prints to a wall to help decorate the classroom.
