Paper Rainforest Animal

Description: 

This project was the project I taught to my fellow classmates. I based this project off of teaching about the various climates and habitats around the world, and more specifically, rainforests. The students were to pick a rainforest animal and us it to create a mosaic. The mosaic had to have a minimum of three different colors, and a minimum of three different characteristics evident of their animal. Since the animal is done in the form of a mosaic, I also took the time to explain what a mosaic is and what they historical were used for.

Expansion: 

An expansion for this project would be to create an animal from each climate region on Earth. Students can then compile all their animals and all their information about the various climate zones around the world into an information book.
